Power management company Eaton today announced its eMobility business has launched a new and improved line of Eaton OMNEX Trusted Wireless™ mobile control solutions for heavy machinery and field operations. 동국제강 로고 동국제강이 2분기 매출 감소에도 불구하고, 수익성 방어에 성공했다. 동국제강은 2020년 2분기 K-IFRS 연결재무제표 기준 매출 1조 3,019억 원을 기록하며 전년 동기 대비 12.9% 감소했고, 영업이익은 전년 동기 대비 26.1% 증가한 998억 원을 달성했다. 당기순이익은 622억 원을 기록하며 전년 동기 대비 흑자폭을 201.8% 확대했다. 2020년 상반기 연결재무제표 기준 매출은 전년 동기 대비 11.8% 감소한 2조 5,303억 원을 기록했고, 영업이익은 전년 동기 대비 22.3% 증가한 1,560억 원을 기록했다. 당기순이익은 -586억 원으로 전년 동기 대비 적자전환했다. 코로나 19 확산 등에 따른 철강 수요 부진으로 매출은 감소했으나, 지속적인 원가절감 노력과 고부가가치 제품 판매 확대로 수익성이 크게 개선됐다. 동국제강은 탄력적 조업이 가능한 전기로 사업의 장점을 극대화하는 데 주력했으며, 이를 통해 봉형강 사업의 수익성을 방어하는 데 성공했다. 아울러 럭스틸 바이오, supersmp 등 차별화된 고급 컬러강판과 내진용 강재 등 고부가가치 철강 제품으로 시장을 선도하는 초격차 전략을 지속한 점도 주효했다. 별도재무제표 기준으로 2020년 2분기 매출은 전년 동기 대비 13.3% 감소한 1조 1,640억 원을 기록했으며, 영업이익은 전년 동기 대비 28.8% 증가한 901억 원을 달성했다. 당기순이익은 567억 원을 기록하며 전년 동기 대비 182.0% 증가했다. 2020년 상반기 별도재무제표 기준 매출은 2조 2,784억 원을 기록하며 전년 동기 대비 11.5% 감소했고, 영업이익은 전년 동기 대비 38.0% 증가한 1,382억 원을 기록했다. 당기순이익은 495억 원을 기록하며 전년 동기 대비 228.2% 증가했다. 동국제강은 하반기 차별화된 고급 컬러강판 투자를 지속하고, 컬러강판의 가공 및 시공 서비스까지 사업을 고도화해 시장을 선도할 계획이다. 그리고 봉형강 등을 만드는 전기로 제강 사업은 수익성 중심 경영을 강화하면서, 친환경 사업으로서의 지속가능성을 높인다는 전략이다.

아스트 항공기 정밀구조물 제작 업체 아스트(067390, 대표이사 김희원)가 14일 반기보고서 공시를 통해 실적을 발표했다. 아스트의 2020년 연결기준 반기 실적은 매출액 277억 4000만 원, 영업손실 2억 2,200만 원, 당기순손실 124억 800만 원으로 집계됐다. 보잉의 737-Max 기종의 운항정지 및 코로나 19 영향으로 작년 동기 대비 매출액이 감소했으며 영업손실과 당기순손실은 운영 상 실제 비용 발생 증가의 결과라기 보다, 회계적 비용 발생에 따른 손실 폭이 커졌다는 설명이다. 아스트 관계자는 “회계상 비용 발생에 따른 손실로 인하여 기발행한 전환사채 관련, 이자비용 인식기간 변경으로 반영된 비용이다. 이는 현금 유출이 없는 회계상 비용으로 회사의 향후 성장성과는 무관하다”고 밝혔다. 이어 관계자는 “마찬가지로 기타비용 발생 손실도 회계 처리상 발생 손실이다. 관계사의 보유 주식을 기존 장부가액에서 공정가액으로 바꿔 평가하다 보니, 평가 차액이 발생했다. 당기순손실 124억 원에는 영업 외 평가 등 손실과 파생상품 평가손실 등 총129억 원의 장부상 손실이 크게 반영됐으며 이런 회계상 손실을 제외하면 사실상 순이익이 발생한 것”이라고 설명했다. 아스트는 올해 코로나19 팬데믹으로 인해 항공기 제조사 공장들의 생산량 감소로, 항공기 부품 및 동체를 제작 납품 매출에도 다소 영향을 받았다. 하지만 현재 수주 잔고가 3조 원 이상 규모로 충분하고, 업계에서 기술력을 인정받은 슈퍼티어1 민항공기 제작업체로서 성장 가능성은 충분하다는 평가다. 아스트는 항공산업이 정상화가 되면 자연스럽게 매출액도 회복할 것이라 보고, 회사의 성장에도 박차를 나갈 계획이다.
